Finally! After getting left out on the first round of AC/DC tour dates, the Aussie rockers will be stopping by Dallas on the second leg of their North American tour, announced today. The band will be playing American Airlines Center on Friday, January 23. Tickets go on sale October 11.

Update is overdue, but still not much to report. Nevertheless, here are the "highlights":
- Sons of Hermann Hall: Joe Ely
- Pontiac Garage: The Ting Tings
- Palladium Ballroom: sex addict Eric Benet
- Firewater Bar & Grill: crackhead Bobby Brown(!)
- Nokia Theatre: Keith Sweat (no scandal that I could find, but his name sure is durty)
- House of Blues: Gavin DeGraw, Blues Traveler
- American Airlines: Eagles (these MFs are just out to spite me, I swear)
- Granada Theater: My Brightest Diamond, 2 shows for Todd Snider
See? Nothing all that exciting. Anyways, all updates are on the main list.....

Edgefest 18: "Edgier" than Ever!
The lineup for "Edgefest 18" Presented by 102.1 FM "The Edge" came out today, and has a few notable bands. Recall that there was actually another Edgefest earlier this year (you guessed it - Edgefest 17) which had exactly zero notable bands. In any event, v18.0 - taking place at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco on October 25 - will feature the reuinted Stone Temple Pilots (remember that Scott Weiland will be playing a solo gig at the Granada just a month later), The Offspring, Staind, the reunited Toadies and some others. OK, maybe it's not that great of a lineup, but it would be for some. Tickets are $69.50 and go onsale Saturday (pre-sale starting today for "Edgeheads"!!!!).
